    • Midwinter Geocaching Event:

Mid-February, Long Lake Town Hall. Geocachers from all over converge on Long Lake to hunt for treasure via snowshoe, snowmobile, cross-country skiing. A dedicated geocacher in Long Lake donates his time and efforts for the fun sport of it all. Look for spontenous geocaching camping trips in the cold frosty air. Don’t be tripped up by geocache’s hidden at the bottom of a frozen lake, you’ll just have to come back in the summer time. Check back often for information about 2014’s Geocache Gathering in Long Lake. Family friendly, if you’ve never tried it, Shane Holmes teaches workshops at the event so everyone has a chance to try it. Great way to get the kids outdoors.
